Offered in the spirit of You can’ live with them, you can’t live without them. Happy Valentine’s Day!

    The longer the marriage
The shorter the time to be together
    Things that make me crazy
Will turn to dust soon enough

    Imagine your future self
without a warm body in bed
    and weekday home cooked
    meals to share

    Be more kind.
    Be gentler.
    Be more patient.
    Complain less.

    Against blue upon blue
    the sun rains your warmth
    soaking through my skin
    in a tender caress
    she lays next me

    Clouds shield the dome overhead
    fresh breezes rescue me
    you cool me protect me
    a soft covering
    she shrouds over me

    On buoyant grass
we look into each other’s eyes
    the gateway to the soul
    a tetragrammaton we can pronounce
yet still only a four letter word
