Posted by Maggie | August 4, 2026, 9:20 PMYou were so cute
the first time I met you
your blonde locks
floppy across your face
your skin so young
I caressed your shoulder
your eyes peering into mine
I knew it was love
You were so cute
the first time I met you
your vernix-matted locks
floppy across your face
your skin so young
I caressed your face
your eyes peering into mine
I knew it was love
You were so cute
the first time I met you
your chestnut locks
floppy across your face
your skin so young
I caressed your ears
your eyes peering into mine
I knew it was love
You were so cute
the first time I met you
your snowy locks
floppy across my face
my cheeks so pale
as you caressed me
your eyes peering into mine
I knew it was love
and now it is August
the sun well past the height
the five of us older
running the course we share
oh life is so sweet
her eyes peer into mine
I always knew it was love
