2019 April PAD Challenge: Day 15

Sorry for the late post. Living Poetry celebrated its 10th anniversary on Saturday and Sunday I was a featured reader at Carrboro’s Poetry on your Plate. I trust you went to Robert Lee Brewer’s April Poem-a-day Challenge directly but, if not:

For today’s prompt, write a prediction poem. Make a prediction. Write about another person’s correct or incorrect prediction. Or, you know, be unpredictable.

It’s exhausting to be a leader in such high demand!

    And here’s mine:

    I expect
    the delivery to be late,
    the item to break,
    I will be disappointed.
    People are just too predictable.
