2019 April PAD Challenge: Day 21

Sunday’s prompt from the Poetic Asides blog. We’re two-thirds of the way through the month. It’s getting tough but stick to it!

For today’s prompt, write a sketch poem. My initial thought is to write a poem that’s like a sketch of a moment or an object. But you can play around with sketchy people or situations. Or just sketch something else together.

  1. the prompt says, “like a sketch of a moment,” so…

    Moment

The wings-flutter of a bird stunned
by the invisible of the sliding glass door
in your cupped hands, its sudden flight
making you gasp and look at the sky
