Monday Poetry Prompt

This week’s prompt: write an Ars Poetica poem

arspA poetry teacher of mine once said to his class, poets should only be allowed to write about writing once a year. So let’s get it out of the way: let’s write an ars poetica poem.

During the summer I read an unusual, yet intriguing Ars Poetica by Leslie McGrath (inside the link scroll down to see the entire poem).

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Happy Writing!
