Monday Poetry Prompt

This week’s prompt: write an acrostic poem

acrosticDefinition: a poem in which the first letter of each line spells out a word, name, or phrase when read vertically.

If you feel up for a challenge: a double-acrostic employs both the first and the last letters of the lines.

Here is an example by Ben Johnson hiding the name of his play in the first letters.

Happy Writing!
