  1. Karma

She said she’d never leave me,
that I was hers and she was mine,
    that we would be forever
in the chaos of the world entwined.

She said she’d always be there,
that our souls would be as one
and now it seems forever’s past
    and our journey’s done.

    But I cannot be bitter,
there’s no anger here to see,
for as much as she has lied,
I have lied far more to she.
