  1. One size fits all
    Is not a real thing
    unless it’s a death shroud.
    I ruined mother’s sheets
    but won first prize.

  2. El Dia del Muertos
    Was celebrated on the day
    Of our brother’s homegoing
The center of the church was filled
    With memories of lost souls
I think he would have been pleased
I heard that he howled at the moon
And I know he took the name
    Of Rising Son
Yes, he would have been pleased
I personally would have liked the feeling
    Like Halloween was my homegoing

  4. I am so busy during the week but have been noodling on the topic.

    Obsession

October – not my thing for spooks
    November is better

    Even the calendar agrees
El dia del muerte, All Saints Day, All Souls Day are all November events

My children laugh at my mild obsession with death
They say it is an Italian thing

But I’m not the only one
Forty percent of Americans believe in ghosts

Sounds like many have mild obsessions
November is optimal time to reflect on them
