This week let’s write a harp poem. Think about the sound of the harp and maybe the heavenly associations with that musical instrument. Post your pluckings in the comments below.

  1. Cease your harping, nagging noise
I heard you the first and fifth time
We don’t need no old white boys
to control us by making abortion a crime

  2. air notes
    breathing into my ears
    soft, gentle notes
    tickling my senses
    my heart strums in tune
    classical
    free
    easy
    giving a certain playfulness
    to my spirit
    soulful tones
    touching the edge of deep
    strumming by the string artist
    in ways that only
    can be touched
    in the air
    can only reach the soul
    clearing the brain
    calming
    before the intensity
of yet another chord of pleasure
