Monday Poetry Prompt: Lost Words

dictionary-1427582-638x371My dear mother pointed me to an article from the BBC entitled Twenty-six words we don’t want to lose. Read and enjoy the article then write a poem using at least one of the words we don’t want to lose. Bonus points scored for using multiple words from the article. Post the result below.

Bartholomew Barker is one of the organizers of Living Poetry, a collection of poets and poetry lovers in the Triangle region of North Carolina.
