Monday Poetry Prompt

skyThis week’s prompt: write about being flung into the sky

If you had someone in your childhood who threw you high up in the air and then catch you again, write about that experience. If you didn’t have such a person, then imagine what it would feel like being flung into the air… being weightless for a few seconds… then falling back towards earth… the trust it takes to let someone fling you in the air, knowing they’ll catch you again…

Happy Writing!
