    With a glistened eye

    an ember of Beltane fire

    he stares

    accusing

what will you do with this day

    wasting half a year

    you will do nothing

    with the rest

    get behind me soft Satan!

    eat your sweet grass

    he scampers away

    the demon gone

    (for now)

    his sting remains

    demons lie

    yes

    but not everything they say

    is

    chastened by the great accuser

    guilty and still prideful

    unwilling to be cowed

    by spoken truth

    i sit and write

    the morning chorus behind me

    the morning breeze

    my strength

    All the cuteness

You remind me of a time
    sweet, innocent and sublime.

When I see you, I automatically smile.
In the folder ‘things that make me happy’, is your file.

If you’re being chased by a dog, I cheer for you.
If you are dead on the highway, I weep for you.

From your cute nose to your fluffy tail,
little bunny, in the wild, your life is so frail.

    Run. Jump, play.
    Enjoy everyday.

You don’t know it, little bunny,
but you make my life sunny.
