This is a beautiful symphony- I’m going to listen to it a few times before writing ❤️

    “Don’t touch that
    You’ll go blind
    Those two reeds
    Will steal your sight”

    Then let me be blind
    From the cacophony
    That I see everywhere

    Let me hear
    Sunlight
    Through detached retinas

    Feel dew
on my soles, with the souls
    that taste it too

    Solid strings, solid ground
    The underpinning of the
    World I want

    This new world
    Now old, barren

    The New World
    Springs life, as always

    Oh you Blind old players
Your instrument has taken so much
    and through those dark eyes
    I see it all

    Thank you
