This is a beautiful symphony- I’m going to listen to it a few times before writing ❤️

Posted by Bartholomew Barker | September 29, 2025, 7:29 PMAlongside returning to writing, I recently began piano lessons (last played piano four decades ago).
My instructor, Rob, is great. I played a BABY version of this piece. In typical Spicy Ginger fashion I played WAY too fast. Rob interrupted mid-note… “Wait! Wait! Wait!” and had me listen to several minutes of the symphony. This was two weeks before you posted it, so I was delighted to see this here!

Posted by poetisatinta | October 4, 2025, 1:53 AM“Don’t touch that
You’ll go blind
Those two reeds
Will steal your sight”
Then let me be blind
From the cacophony
That I see everywhere
Let me hear
Sunlight
Through detached retinas
Feel dew
on my soles, with the souls
that taste it too
Solid strings, solid ground
The underpinning of the
World I want
This new world
Now old, barren
The New World
Springs life, as always
Oh you Blind old players
Your instrument has taken so much
and through those dark eyes
I see it all
Thank you
