Monday Poetry Prompt: Difficulty, Reason, Run

This week let’s write a poem with the words difficulty, reason and run in it. This is another of those prompts where I randomly choose three words from a list of the top 1000 words in the English language plus a few of my favorites. Post your poems in the comments below.

    I can run a mile
    With no difficulty see
    Whatever reason

    Grace in the Run

    In the midst of difficulty,
I find my reason to run,
not by strength of my own,
but by grace that never fades,
    leading me toward a light
that overcomes the darkest of days.
