    Some things fit me skin-tight
A sunrise stuck to my retina
    Exploding back to brain
    Delicately pigmented

    And cushioned below
    With seeping fog
    How do I know
    I am looking east?

    You framed it for me,
    Didn’t leave me hanging
    Over some crush of coast
    Skin shivering damp.

Could have left the floating world
    Floating

    The waves
    visible
    on drops
    suspended
    a boundary
    now present
    soon to be gone

    Sunlight and shadow
    swirl
    my eyes
    see
    a flash, a moment
    like any other
    soon to be gone
