Monday Poetry Prompt

For today’s prompt, write a landay. Landays are 22-syllable couplets, generally rhyming, with 9 syllables in theafghanistan first line and 13 syllables in the second line. The form is from Afghanistan, typically sung by women as folk songs. You can try writing a single landay or string a few together for your poem.

Happy writing!
